The McMichael Canadian Art Collection, a leading public gallery northwest of Toronto devoted to Canadian art, is working towards improving its services for Chinese visitors. Aside from hosting prominent Chinese events, most recently the Canada-China Cultural Innovation Forum in October of 2018, the gallery holds Chinese-language tours on weekends (upon request) and provides gallery information sheets in Mandarin. The Canadian gallery also offers a range of corporate rental services for Chinese-speaking guests including private tours. Furthermore, Cantonese and Mandarin-speaking staff members are on hand to ensure visitors have a positive experience. For more information or to check out the gallery’s upcoming special exhibition Maud Lewis — which features a variety Canadian masterpieces depicting nostalgic rural life in Atlantic Canada — go to mcmichael.com.
