Phillips, a leading global platform for buying and selling 20th and 21st century works, presents a selection of work by international 20th Century and Contemporary artists at the 6th China International Import Expo (CIIE).

Taking place November 5-10th in Shanghai, works on display at the CIIE will be available to purchase through private sales. Highlights exhibited this year include legendary artist Jean-Michel Basquiat, an early pioneer of Modernism Marc Chagall, and one of Japan’s most sought-after contemporary artists, Ayako Rokkaku.

As Qing Shen, Senior China Consultant at Phillips said, “The CIIE is an important platform for international  companies to tap into the Chinese market, and its favourable policy for both collectors and auction houses has opened up new ideas for Phillips to explore innovation and development in China.”

This is the third time that Phillips will participate in the CIIE. Phillips has been actively expanding their footprint in Asia, unveiling its Asian headquarters in Hong Kong’s West Kowloon Cultural District in March, and building a permanent purpose-built exhibition space and saleroom.
