Terrifying Tourism: Explore Notorious Philly Penitentiary

Known for its grand architecture and strict discipline, the Eastern State Penitentiary Historic Site in Philadelphia was once the most famous and expensive prison in the world. Today the crumbling cellblocks and empty guard towers are open to the public seven days a week, year-round.
