The dazzling lights of Miami Art Week have dimmed, but the echoes of its success continue to resonate across the art world. ‘Gateway Miami,’ presented by Now Media and FACTBLOCK, concluded its third annual event from December 6th to 8th, leaving an indelible mark on its attendees and the broader art community.
Set in the architecturally stunning Faena Forum, designed by Rem Koolhaas and OMA, ‘Gateway Miami’ transcended expectations, reaffirming its position as a pivotal player in the intersection of art and technology. The event, themed ‘Blossoming,’ turned the venue into a vibrant Eden, encapsulating the spirit of innovation and creativity.
Building on the success of ‘Gateway Korea’ and last year’s Miami event, this year’s edition attracted a diverse crowd of art enthusiasts, tech aficionados, and industry leaders. A VIP dinner and an exclusive opening party featuring a surprise musical guest set a celebratory tone for the event.
The exhibition showcased a formidable lineup of artists, including Alpha Centauri Kid, Bryan Brinkman, and Emonee LaRussa, among others. Their works offered a glimpse into the future of digital art, blending traditional artistry with cutting-edge technology.

Notable partners such as Christie’s, Mercedes-Benz NXT, and SHISEIDO, each brought their unique vision to the event. Christie’s continued to push the boundaries with their embrace of NFTs, while Mercedes-Benz NXT showcased the digital collectability of their iconic brand. SHISEIDO, staying true to its roots, presented a fusion of tradition and innovation.
In the realm of digital advancements, Wilder World invited attendees into ‘Wiami,’ their photorealistic metaverse, and Atomic Form introduced cutting-edge display hardware for digital art. These participations highlighted the growing interplay between digital realms and physical experiences.
