A legendary naval aircraft carrier located in downtown San Diego, California at Navy Pier, the USS Midway Museum is booming with Chinese spectators. In fact, in a few short years, Mandarin has become the most spoken foreign language on the ship. To accommodate, self-guided audio tours, narrated by former Midway sailors, are available in Mandarin. Plus, the USS Midway Museum partakes in a WeChat Mini Program in partnership with the city to interact with potential visitors. To further market the attraction to international travelers in China, staff will also be participating in a sales mission this fall to major Chinese tour operators, packagers and ticket resellers in Guangzhou, Hangzhou and Shanghai.
