The Asia Society will host a dynamic convening of curators, artists, and museum and arts professionals at the 2021 Arts & Museum Summit, which will be held virtually on November 17–19, 2021. Held biennially, the Summit features presentations, panel discussions, and workshops by leading arts professionals from the Asia Pacific region and beyond.
This year’s Summit, “Reimagining Museum Narratives in the 21st Century,” will focus on issues relating to decolonization in the arts. Some of the topics to be explored include decolonizing curatorial practices, re-negotiating art historical narratives, and deconstructing the legacies of regional colonial histories.
